Come breathe with me under the full moon.
After a wild beginning to 2025, the full moon in Leo invites us into our heartspace. It asks us to take care of ourselves and the child within so that we can fully move from our hearts and show up in community and collective care. We need one another right now. This virtual space is a perfect mirror for how we can be in our own experience and radically connected at once.
Breathwork and reiki are the perfect way to release the emotions, fear, and the heaviness that has been accumulating for the last few weeks, and pour love back in.
In this space we will set gentle intentions, then we will lay down to breathe for 30-ish minutes, after which you will receive reiki energy with a sealing meditation and optional space for sharing to close.
If you are new to breathwork with Mandy, you will be asked to fill out a breathwork waiver and release form prior to the circle. If this is your first time practicing breathwork, please indicate below and Mandy will contact you with a prep video and some tips.
Here are some recommendations to set yourself up to have the best possible experience:
Be careful not to eat anything heavy for 1-2 hours prior to the session
Make sure you are well hydrated and bring water with you
Wear comfortable clothes. Jeans are not recommended, nor is anything that restricts your midsection.
Bring a journal and something to write with.
Choose a location that is private and where you can lay down and not be constricted (a bed is fine; I prefer the floor).
Headphones will allow you to be more fully immersed in the musical experience. I design the playlist to take you on a specific journey and the music is very important. If you are using bluetooth headphones, make sure they are charged up.
You can bring a pillow for under your knees, and have a blanket handy as well.
If you like to use an eyemask, you can have one handy, or a soft hand towel if you don’t have an eye mask.
Breathwork can be an emotive practice for some people, so if you live with a partner or roommate, let them know that if they hear you shout or cry that you are ok.
Make this time sacred and set your mood. You may light candles, have meaningful/spiritual items near you, turn on a diffuser with soft essential oils that you’re used to (make sure these are far away from you), and really make the space yours. Stay away from burning sage or palo santo or anything strong that may irritate your airway.
